This handcrafted stand is shaped from ancient, river-recovered Kauri and holds 3 x 14mm and 3 x 10mm slides or quartz bangers with a snug, secure fit.

The centerpiece features a 60-piece geometric inlay made from five river-recovered native New Zealand timbers—River Kauri, Totara, Rimu, Matai, and Puriri — absolutely no stain has been used, each timber has been naturally watercoloured by centuries beneath Aotearoa’s rivers.

Each fragment of the inlay is hand cut to a tolerance of +\-0.1mm(1/256”), before being arranged, and inlaid by hammer and chisel.

No CNC here, just precision, patience and sharp tools.
